The world's steepest cogwheel railway: start of season on 15 May 2008 - The "Golden Round Trip" by boat and the "Silver Round Trip" with the Zentralbahn (railway) around and over Mount Pilatus will start the new season on 15 May. But before then, the railway tracks have to be shovelled free of many metres of snow.
Pilatus Rope Park Awarded Safety in Adventures Certification - On 19 June 2007, the Pilatus Rope Park on Fräkmüntegg was awarded the quality and safety certification «Safety in Adventures» by the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS). Certification was preceded by an intensive test phase.
