PILATUS ROPE PARK AWARDED SAFETY IN ADVENTURES CERTIFICATION


	On 19 June 2007, the Pilatus Rope Park on Fräkmüntegg was awarded the quality and safety certification «Safety in Adventures» by the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS). Certification was preceded by an intensive test phase.

"Safety has always been a top priority for PILATUS-BAHNEN," says PILATUS-BAHNEN director André Zimmermann. "Thanks to the uniform standards of the Safety in Adventures label, we can now show our guests, employees and partners proof that they are in excellent hands at the Pilatus Seilpark."

Safety in Adventures
The Safety in Adventures Foundation is committed to safety in commercially provided outdoor and adventure activities throughout Switzerland. In order to prevent accidents in outdoor and adventure activities, all measures must be taken which experience shows to be necessary, which are feasible within the scope of modern technology and which are suited to the relevant conditions. Safety in Adventures defines a safety policy with protection aims which act as benchmarks for individual outdoor and adventure activities. Each provider – including PILATUS-BAHNEN with its Pilatus Rope Park at Fräkmüntegg – develops and implements a safety concept based on the model of Safety in Adventures. After approval by an independent test authority, the provider is awarded the Safety in Adventures certification. The safety standards introduced are subject to an annual review.
